RACHEL SNOOK - OWNER

Rachel's love of animals started at a very early age with her first dog, a Mini Pinscher named Toby, and her first horse, a Shetland pony named Susie.  Growing up her family always had several animals including Dogs, Cats, Horses, Dairy Goats, Pigs and Cows. Rachel and her sisters were very active in 4-H and FFA which helped fulfill her thirst for knowledge about all things furry.

Rachel developed a love for training dogs 18 years ago when she started working at Don O’Brien’s Kennels in Northern CA.  This is where she learned most of what she knows about training and working dogs. Along her journey she pulled information and knowledge from several trainers to develop the knowledge base she has today.

Rachel loves working with all breeds of dogs but especially loves working the gun dogs and going to trials and hunt tests with the Retrievers and Pointers.

Snook Family Dog Training has become a family affair with Rachel's husband Scott joining the training team whenever he can.  Their 3 kids also love being around all the dogs.
